Panty Promise is the first underwear brand that bridges the gap between the apparel industry and the femtech industry- creating the only gynecologist recommended panty brand on the market. We are inclusive and body positive offering 9 sizes and 4 skin tone options so all women can wear our brand. With sustainability top of mind these days, our panties are also biodegradable - saving the planet one panty at a time.
what is YOUR WHY?
Because women need to know that there are better choices for their bodies for preventative health care! Synthetics are awful for feminine wellness, but the apparel market has convinced women that underwear should be the cheapest thing on their bodies!
What PROBLEM DOES YOUR BUSINESS SOLVE? AND WHY ARE YOU THE BEST PERSON TO SOLVE IT?
It solves inclusion, the environment and feminine wellness. I’m the best person because I’ve been an intimate apparel designer throughout my entire career, and have personally worked in factories around the world seeing first hand how dirty the fashion industry is for your body and for the environment.
WhY DID YOU JOIN THE 1909 ACCELERATOR?
For all the things! Growing in a thriving community of like minded people, resources, and accelerating my brand!
You aren't just joining a 6 month class, you are now a part of a tight knit group of ideators, entrepreneurs, movers and shakers. How do you plan to contribute to the community?
I have a lot of international experience building supply chain relationships. I also have experience having been in a entrepreneurship program in Berlin where I learned to build a business plan. I’m also skilled in Adobe design programs. If anyone needs help in those areas of their business - I can contribute!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LIFE LESSON?
That life is short and time truly is precious. So be well intentioned and authentic in all you do. Each day is a gift and not everyone gets to do what they’re passionate about. I learned this after I lost my Dad while I was living abroad unexpectedly and quickly (someone who was my best friend). Time goes quick and you never get it back- so make the most of it.
