STEM on wheels (working title)

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS

A mobile education unit designed to introduce students and schools to various stem activities/career paths. Students will complete various task pertaining to one area of interest and work in small groups to complete their task. The mobile unit can be accessible to schools and children thoughtout the county and within their neighborhood.

what is YOUR WHY?

Schools are not fulfilling the requirements the world is advancing to simply because schools cannot afford it or dont have enough instructors who can facilitate this change. I would like children to find a passion in stem and to be a part of helping the world advance.

What PROBLEM DOES YOUR BUSINESS SOLVE? AND WHY ARE YOU THE BEST PERSON TO SOLVE IT?

This bus would provide an education extracurricular activity for students who are homeschooled and it would help deliver programs to schools without an extensive budget. Additionally, it removes the stress from teachers who struggle with trying to learn the content and teaching it - and who don’t have the budget for materials, technology, etc. for their classrooms.

WhY DID YOU JOIN THE 1909 ACCELERATOR?

I wanted help on the business aspect and wanted the support group that could share my vision and help me see that it is attainable.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE HELP WITH FROM OUR 1909 COMMUNITY?

Spreading the word about the services that are soon to come. And sponsorship for students, teachers and schools who cannot afford it.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LIFE LESSON?

You can’t not write the script for your own life. If it's meant to be placed in your hands it will happen no matter what. You just have to put in the work. People make time for what's important to them.
