WHAT HOURS ARE YOU OPEN?
Members at Resident, Dedicated Desk, or Private Office tiers may access the space 24/7 with their access card. However, sleepovers are NOT permitted.
DO YOU OFFER DAY PASSES?
No. We are not a typical co-working space. We’re a membership-based club for entrepreneurs, creators, etc. and have an application system intentionally designed to help us curate a diverse community of talented souls with high integrity, drive, and passion. However, we do offer Guest Passes for current Members - these can be purchased through the Member Portal (which only Members have access to.)
IS 1909 A NON-PROFIT?
Yes, we are a Non-Profit 501(C)(3) organization.
i understand it’s an open floor plan, so, WHAT IS THE PHONE and video call ETIQUETTE?
We understand phone and video calls are important for a lot of us. We ask that you hop into one of our beautiful ROOM™ phone booths to take a call (especially if it's particularly long or chatty) - if they’re occupied, please step outside. If you have to take a phone or video call in the open space, you must have headphones on and we ask that you be aware of your volume and respect those working around you. Nobody should feel like they are a part of your meeting or conversation if they aren't.
can i bring my dog?
We are dog friendly - we just ask you to please keep pets off the furniture and on a leash if they don’t stay with you. You must agree and sign our pet policy before bringing them into the space.
IS THERE A CONFERENCE ROOM I CAN USE?
Yes, we do have 1 conference room (aka the ‘IDEA ROOM’) that, depending on your membership level, you get certain amount of hours access to per month. You must book it in advance through the Member Portal.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
If you live Downtown, we encourage our members to walk/ride - we have showers & bike racks! The Evernia Garage (across the street) costs $1 an hour for the first 2 hours (w/ a $20 daily max.) Monthly parking passes are available through the city. There is also street parking available.
CAN I CANCEL ANYTIME?
Digital, Community, and Resident memberships are month to month and can be cancelled within 7 days for the 1st of the next month by filling out the Cancellation Form in the Member Portal. Dedicated Desk and Private Office Memberships have 3-6 month contracts respectively and the member must give 30 days notice to cancel after their contract has expired.
Can i bring guests to the space?
Guest Passes can be purchased by current Members via the Member Portal. The only time a Guest is permitted in the space without a pass is if you are having a meeting with them. Please know that the resources and perks provided in the space (i.e. cold brew coffee) are for Members only. Members are fully responsible for the behavior and actions of your guests and to be sure they’re following our Ethos. Private Office Members may bring guests into their offices at anytime.
I applied but didn’t hear back. What gives?
Our application process is intended to help us curate a diverse community of talented Creators & Entrepreneurs with high integrity, drive, and passion. Because we are at capacity we are reviewing all applications competitively and making thoughtful decisions based on quality, needs, and resources we have to offer the individual and their business. If you did not hear back within 1-2 weeks of applying that means your application was not approved.
